After more than 70 years of separation along the 38th parallel, the possibility of Korean unity is re-examined. For the purpose of this project, the question of Korean unity will be examined along three lines:
(1) in regards to the international organizations, actors, and laws,
(2) with lessons learned from German reunification in 1989, and
(3) by considering the obstacles which have resulted since division, beckoning the question of whether there is an expiration date on unity.
